Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron's former girlfriend has made it clear in an interview that she and her co-star Josh Hutcherson are just friends.

In an interview with Ellen Degeneres on her upcoming flick “Sucker Punch" which will open in theaters on friday, confirmed about her relationship with "The Kids Are All Right" star Josh Hutcherson stating that they are just friends.

"Can't a girl have friends?" "Aww, I love him. We just did a movie together and we had the best time," she said.

When asked about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Zac Efron, the 22-yr-old star said that despite the break-up they have still remained good friends.

"After being in a relationship with someone that long, you stay friends." added the actress.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens had met each other at the sets of the high school musical and ended their three year long relationship in 2010.
