Steven Tyler Leads American Idol To An Apology

Steven Tyler in American Idol had made fun of a contestant with a surname “Muck". He hinted at the contestant that his surname rhymed with a certain slang word. Steven Tyler on the sets of American Idol asked the contestant, “Do you know what that rhymes with?" The guy said, “Duck?", and then he said, “Read my lips…." This was not taken well by many other contestants and viewers. American Idol, thus, on the behalf of Steven Tyler apologized.
American Idol apology read, "American Idol would like to apologize for last week's outrageous behavior by Steven Tyler. Mr. Tyler has been warned and assures us it will never happen again." The apology will be flashed on the screen at the beginning of the show.
Ryan Seacrest on his radio show announced the apology of American Idol on his show and also hinted at the fact that the apology sounded nothing but a formality and scarcasm on those who had a complained about it.
