A Dream Like Royal Wedding
The royal wedding have concluded and so has the several rumours, gossips and stories about the marriage and the royal couple. They have now been declared as man and wife. After the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William, they will now be known as the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge. Kate and Prince Willian exchanged the wedding vows before the Archbishop of Canterbury and hundreds of family members, visiting dignitaries and invited guests shortly after 11am this morning.
Just before the royal wedding it was declared that Kate will not promise to obey her husband in the vow but will use the term 'love and comfort'. However, the royal couple exchanged traditional vows. When Kate walked down the aisle ith her dad, Prince William first wispered to Kate 'You are looking beautiful' and then cracked a joke with her dad, “We"re supposed to have just a small family affair." The royal wedding on one hand was the big day for the whole world and the sense of history being repeated with the royals but for the two families it seemed to be a emotional affair.
After the ceremoney as the congregation sang 'Love Divine All Love"s Excelling", Kate's sister was seen in tears. The Right Reverend and Right Honourable Dr. Richard Chartres, Lord Bishop of London and Dean of Her Majesty"s Chapels Royal, addresses a speech to the couple for 10 minutes. Prayers were said, followed by 'Jerusalem'. The royal wedding ceremony, the fairy tale story concluded with the National Anthem and the signing the three registers.
