Elizabeth Banks is now the mother of a son via gestational surrogacy. After several years of unsuccessful pregnancy attempts, the birth of the baby boy is a the best gift to Elizabeth Banks and Max Handleman. Elizabeth Banks baby is named 'Felix', a name which stands for happy and lucky. A name which the child truly deserves.

On the birth of the baby, Elizabeth Banks wrote in her blog, "The one true hurdle I've faced in life is that I have a broken belly. After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: we make a 'baby cake' and bake it in another woman's 'oven,' "

Ask Elizabeth Banks about life with the baby and she answers at present she will enjoy the feeling of motherhood and spend time cleaning dirty drapers. Taking care of the child is the best work. Though she has made it clear that her career will never take a set back. She will be co-directing and starring in 'Movie 43'.
