The reality show, American Idol is the best when Simon Cowell was the judge! As per many of the viewers of the show. The American Idol, season 10, has new judges and although they are great singers, many still believe that the nasty Cowell was 'The Best'.

American Idol first season saw Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul as the judges, but further the show went, Paula Abdul left leaving all her fans devastated. Sooner, Simon Cowell announced he was leaving and this left many viewers of the show, American Idol incorrigible.

As per sources, it is said that Simon Cowell has made a great impact on all the contestants for his sheer criticisms and comment regarding their singing and talents. Devoted American Idol viewers stated that they miss Simon Cowell and would want for him to come back to judge the contestants.

Ratings have indicated that viewing figures are down 13 percent on last year for the first show of the tenth series, screened last week. Sources say that the present judges, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson are cool but not compared to Cowell whom was known as Mr. Nasty. Shows like these should have a little bit of bite to it.
