Prince Williams Wedding-The Obamas Not Invited!

Going against tradition, US President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are not to be in the list of the invitees for the wedding of Prince Williams and Kate Middleton.
According to royal sources on Thursday, the Obamas are not among the invitees for Prince William's wedding, as the wedding is not going to be a 'state occasion', as Prince Williams is not yet the heir to the throne.
Daily Mail states that courtiers are wishing the presence of ordinary citizens and charity workers than foreign dignitaries and VIPs at the 'people's wedding'.
While the Obamas are not included in the guest list, France's president Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni and a number of heads of state are likely to be present in Prince William's wedding ceremony, scheduled on 29 April, 2011
The omission of the US President is something unusual as in Prince Williams', as the then US President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy were invited for Prince Charles and Diana's wedding ceremony in 1981. They were also invited for the wedding of Prince Andrew to Sarah Ferguson in 1986.
A senior source from the royal court said, “It is certainly not the case that all foreign heads of state will be excluded. The guest list is still being drawn up and could change, but as things stand it''s right (to say Mr Obama will not be invited)"
It is a break in tradition, that the US President is not being invited for a royal wedding.
