Katie Price, more popularly known as Jordan, is set to be the latest celeb to shut down her Twitter account. The glamour girl says she is sick of abusive messages on the social networking site.
Jordan is tired by the flood of "mindless and relentless comments" she is getting after her split with ex-husband, Peter Andre.

Kate is a tough cookie and she"s grown used to what she calls "the haters" who are constantly taking pops at her. However, the level of abuse on Twitter is intolerable. She really is in two minds about staying on the site.

"She gets lots of lovely messages from her true fans who look up to her and they are an absolute pleasure. But in the same breath, there are the mindless idiots who bombard her with crude, abusive comments, which are there for everybody to see. She tries to ignore it but it"s hard not to be upset. She is considering all her options," says a close friend.

If she makes an exit from the site, Jordan will join the league of Courtney Love, Miley Cyrus and Lily Allen, who have all closed their Twitter accounts.
