The 'Knocked Up' star, Katherine Heigl wants to reward the animal lovers and urges the public to bring the animal abusers to justice.

Katherine had recently helped a pooch which was found with the legs tied together in a muddy field in California wants the animal abusers to be punished strictly.

The alleged involved in the event, James Worley was arrested and faces the possible charge for the violation conducted.

The dog Heigl saved was named England, as a courtesy to Kristen England, the animal control officer who saved him.

Katherine Heigl also confesses that she wants to work in affiliation with the organization, Last Chance For Animals in the motive of hampering animal cruelty.

She also wants to encourage the people for the people who will help them in providing information on animal abusers, through the foundation.

"The thing is that you don't want to give up on these animals. Just because they've been through what they've been through doesn't mean that they can't have an enjoyable, happy, loving life," says the actress.
