George Forsyth says that the outpouring of condolences of NYC's 'paper-thin" celebs are rubbish.
“The truth is, the fashion world is the loneliest place on the face of the planet. It's a shallow world full of party people and party friends. Lee knew that," said Forsyth.
The British designer"s ex feels McQueen isn't being mourned appropriately.
He sadly said, “It's been fashion, fashion, fashion ... but what about him as a person? That's the real loss and the real waste."
Alexander hanged himself at his home in London, last Thursday.
