The 60 year old was honored in the Buckingham palace. Terry is the author of the novel 'The color of magic' and is claimed to be Britain's most read author of the 1990's, and is now second after J K Rowlings.
Terry has also has been involved in various social causes and is associated with raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease. Born on April 28 1948, at Beaconsfield, he published his first short story when only 13 years old, as reported by the Daily Express.
