Johnsons Baby Shampoo Contains Cancer Causing Chemicals

28 products were tested in an independent laboratory for formaldehyde, out of which 23 contained the chemical says the sky news report. Other products had the traces of 1, 4-dioxane agent, which is also concluded to be cancer risk for humans. 48 items were tested for 1,4-dioxane, out of which 67 percent subsume the chemicals.
When examined, apparently both the substances were found in Johnson's Baby Shampoo, L'Oreal Kids Extra Gentle 2-in-1 shampoo and Pampers Kandoo foaming soap. "If chemicals are causing cancer in animals, we really shouldn't be putting them on babies'' heads" added Stacy Malkan from the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, who commissioned the tests.
The Personal Care Products Council, however, accused the group of preying on parents'' fears and described the results as "patently false".
