Biden is one of the few second ladies who have chosen to work while her husband takes charge of the office. According to Politico reports, Jill will teach two English papers this semester at the Annandale campus.
After her services as a teacher for over three decades at the community college in Delaware, Biden decided to leave her job after her husband, was elected as a Vice-president.
After entertaining offers from a number of four-year schools and community colleges, she finally settled for for Northern Virginia Community College.
"I am thrilled to return to the classroom to continue working with community college students, whom I greatly admire and enjoy teaching," Biden said in a statement.
"I have always believed in the power of community colleges to endow students with critical life skills, and I am pleased that I can make a difference by doing what I love to do, teaching people who are excited to learn," she added.
To promote education is also Biden's prime aim as a second lady, as reported by her office. AGENCIES
