Jade Goody Statue To Be Pedestalled
The decision was taken after Council chiefs were flooded with letters demanding that late Goody be honoured.
The council has decided to honour her efforts to encourage young women to be screened for cervical cancer.
According to Bob Skelly, chair of Bermondsey community council in South London, 'The Mirror' quoted him as saying : "The council has plans for the Dickens Estate area where Jade grew up, and I'm sure we could do something,"
The news has left Jade's saddened family and pals happy at heart..
"It's wonderful news." Jade's spokesman Max Clifford said.
Jade's sons Bobby, 5 and Freddy, 4 are taking off to Australia with dad Jeff Brazier in planned avoidance of their mum's funeral, as their late mother wanted them to remember her as a happy, bubbly person.
"Jade is on her way to heaven," Jeff said.
