Flying Machine And Galeej Gurus Present A Unique Rock Rendition

Brand Flying Machine and Galeej Gurus who share a similar approach to Indian youth present the hard rock rendition of the song that has been played and sung by most of us in a more serene manner till now.
Alok Dubey - VP Business Head, Arvind Brands says, "Youth is constantly looking at changing status quo, creating and seeking a new perspective, and here we present a take on 'Hum Honge Kaamyaab' that has not been done before.very fresh and very young".
The project is conceptualized and put together with a lot of passion and Flying Machine believes that this is a very familiar sound genre with a song that you never expected to hear in this form makes it so unique and is another step for the band towards fostering a very strong bond with youth.
Nathan Harris (Vocalist, Galeej Gurus) explains "Given the band's sound, Flying Machine thought it would be a great idea to cover a patriotic song using a Rock theme. So we went about deciding between songs like 'Hum Honge Kaamyaab', 'Sa Re Jahan Se Acha' and so on. A quick check helped us decide which song to cover. We couldn't find a rock version of 'Hum Honge Kaamaayab' and so decided to take up the challenge of rewriting the song with a rock feel to it."
Also speaking on the song selected, Naveen Thomas (Guitarist , Galeej Gurus) said "This song was also apt for all of us as it had a nice patriotic message to convey and this sat perfectly with the music that we had in mind. Given that we've never ever covered a Hindi song as a band before, it was a new & quite an interesting experience for the band".
Recalls Ananth Menon (Guitarist, Galeej Gurus) "The ideas for the video were fantastic & the band fitted right in. Our wardrobe was provided by Flying Machine and they complimented every frame that was shot. This was a great feeling to have contributed to our Independence Day celebrations and Flying Machine made that possible for us! Jai Hind!".
