Another Grammy For Obama
New York: Locked in a neck and neck battle with Hillary Clinton for the top job in the US, Democrat Presidential hopeful Barack Obama edged out her husband Bill Clinton to win a Grammy in the Best Spoken Word Album category.
Another former US president and Nobel laureate Jimmy Carter was also among the nominees.
The award for Sen Obama comes on the heels of back to back wins in US Presidential primaries.
Sen Obama, who could be the first black US President, won the Grammy for "The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream".
Mr Clinton was nominated for his book-- Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World, and Mr Carter for 'Sunday Mornings in Plains: Bringing Peace to a Changing World'.
This is the second Grammy for the Senator from Illinois. Mr Obama picked up his first statuette for the spoken word edition of his first book 'Dreams from My Father'.
