Married Women Gear Up To Walk The Ramp

"Nihar Naturals Sananda Srimati is an endeavour to help married women rediscover themselves in a new light, and encourage them to showcase their talents, which sometimes get lost in the triviality of mundane existence," said Madhumita Chattopadhayay, the magazine's editor, while addressing a press conference here.
Married women would be invited to send in their entries for the contest. Short listed candidates would be selected for a preliminary round. Consequently, ten finalists would be chosen for a month-long grooming session. The grand finale would consist of rounds on the ramp as well as a question-answer session aimed at discovering their inner beauty and strength," she added while elaborating on the rules of the contest.
"Nihar Naturals Sananda Srimati is not merely a beauty contest.
It's a journey towards discovering your inner beauty and strength.
It's a unique contest which helps you reinvent yourself through its rigorous grooming sessions and numerous sub contests," said Antara Das Roy, the winner of the previous year Sananda contest who was also present at the occasion.
"The contest gave me a unique opportunity to boost my confidence and the courage to follow my dreams. It has changed my life for good. I have bagged quite a number of modeling assignments and look forward to many more such opportunities in future," said Nandini Roy Chowdhury, the first runner up of the previous year contest who is also a practising doctor.
