Katie Holmes has finally come in terms with her 'in-expensive' taste in fashion. The star shot to headlines when she was spotted wearing items from the discount retailer's Comme des Garcon line - a black and white polka dot long sleeve tee (24.90dollars), cardigan (69.90dollars) and scarf (59.90dollars) - en route to a "Sons" rehearsal.

However Katie Holmes was seen in the East Village on November 24 decked in an ankle-length red plaid D&G version of streetwear, reports the New York Daily News. The casual-wear loving actress seems to have replaced her baggy jeans for D&G dress, which was worth 1,100 dollars.

The star completed her fashion statement with with a simple black cardigan and her adorable baby girl, Suri. The look was a contrast to her inexpensive H&M gear the 29-year-old fashionista was spotted wearing last month.
