Paris Hilton prison life-video game
The Game Show Network (GSN) has launched 'The Prison Life" on Paris Hilton, featuring a cartoon version of the hotel heiress wearing a US government-issue orange jumpsuit, stilettos and over sized sunglasses.
The animated socialite works on a conveyor belt lining up stamps to print the California license plates scrolling along in front of her, while an intimidating matronly prison warden watches over her. 'Paris' is accompanied by her pet Chihuahua, whose name has been changed from Tinkerbell to Clinkerbell in the game. However, the miniature pooch only makes things difficult for gamers taking control of 'The Simple Life' star.
John P. Roberts, GSN's Senior Vice President for digital media and interactive entertainment, said, "Her dog, 'Clinkerbell', keeps jumping up on the conveyer belt, and you don't want to hit him because then you lose points. "But if the dog gets through the entire belt, you get extra points." Roberts said he came up with the idea for the game last weekend when he started wondering what jobs Paris might be given while serving her 23 days in jail for driving with a suspended license.
'The Prison Life' is the latest in a long line of celebrity-mocking games from GSN. The company first put out a spoof game based on Mel Gibson's infamous anti-Semitic outburst during his arrest for DUI (driving under the influence) last year, and have followed it up with several more. You can log on to www.gsn.com to play 'The Prison Life'.
