A man from West Yorkshire is at risk of being served with an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) - because of his pet parrot Elvis.
Edward Pikul's 2ft talking macaw fly has become something of a menace in Wilsden, near Bradford.
The parrot has been accused of dive-bombing people and wrecking streetlights when owner Pikul lets him out.
He even swoops on residents and chews through TV cables. Anti-social behaviour officials are observing Elvis"s behaviour.
"I"m not going to lock him up. I"d rather get rid of him than imprison him." He has had Elvis seven years," The Sun quoted Pikul, as saying.
A Bradford council spokeswoman said: "Perhaps he would be better off in a sanctuary."
