Tips To Clean Your Greasy Gas Stove
The most irritating thing which you find in your kitchen is a greasy gas stove. The oil accumulates on the gas stove due to regular cooking and it becomes a huge problem to clean the oil stains from the stove top.
The dirt which accumulates in the burners is also a major issue when it comes to cleaning. Regular cleaning of the gas stove ensures that your stove remains like new. So, it is very important that you clean your greasy gas stove at least twice in a month.

Commercial cleansers are not a very good idea for cleaning your gas stove. It may cause discolouration or damage to the burners and your stove may not work properly. So, here are a few tips to clean your greasy gas stove which is sure to come handy. Take a look.

Cleaning The Grates
Remove the grates and soak it in ¼ cup of ammonia for several hours. Wear gloves when you remove the grates from the ammonia solution. Rinse off with water. The crusty layer of dirt will be completely removed.
Cleaning The Stove Top
Sprinkle generous amount of baking soda over your stove top and then spray hot water over it. Wait for 30 minutes and then scrub to remove the oil.
Cleaning The Burners
Remove all the removable parts of the burners and soak them in hot, soapy water for an hour. Using a pin, carefully unclog each small port of the gas burner. Do not use a toothpick to unclog the ports. For tough greasy buildup, use a paste of 1 part water and 1 part baking soda. Gently scrub the removable parts of your gas burner. Rinse thoroughly. Then make sure your burners are completely dried when you fit them again in your stove.
