Now Wash & Maintain Party Gowns At Home!

Simple tips to wash and maintain party gowns at home:
1. Many a times, you get food or drink stains on the party dress which can become permanent if left untreated. Soak a cloth piece in water and rub the stain immediately. This prevents the stain from sticking to the fabric.
2. Stains of perfume and sweat can leave dark spots on the outfit. To remove these stains from party dresses especially silk, apply diluted white vinegar with a soft sponge or cloth piece on the stains and remove them.
3. It is not necessary to wash the party gowns/dress just to remove few stains from the outfit. You can soak a soft sponge in soapy water and rub on the stain.
4. If the party dress has become dirty and requires washing, soak the dress in cold water only for 5 minutes.
5. Add 2-3 drops of hair shampoo to wash party gowns especially silk. Mix the shampoo till it produces lather and then soak the outfit.
6. Leave for 5 minutes and then take out the party dress. Never use a brush to clean the fabric. Gently use your hands to clean the party dresses. This helps maintain the fabric for long.
7. Rinse the party outfits in cold water and don;'t wringe them. Let them air dry. Use a hanger if required and dry under the shade and not direct sun.
8. Never iron party dresses especially silk. To prevent getting wrinkles, avoid wringing the clothes. This is an effective tip to maintain party dress.
