During summer, an ideal house should have bright colours which are light and colourful. It is time to refresh the bedroom decor for the summer season. So, take out dark and thick curtains, bedsheets and blankets from the bedroom and replace with light fabrics.

Floral theme: As it is summer, use floral prints in your bedroom to set a vibrant tone. You can either paint your walls floral or simply get bright floral curtains and bedsheets for your bedroom. Summer has bright and vibrant colours to set the perfect mood. Utilize this summer/spring time by using this décor idea.

Cotton curtains: You would want to enjoy the warm breeze in the evening. So, get light cotton curtains for your bedroom which keeps the room bright and colourful. These summer curtains also allow sun rays to enter the bedroom and kill bacteria. However, if you want to keep your bedroom cool in summer especially during afternoons, you can use linen curtains or double-coated summer curtains. Beads hanging: As you will keep your doors and windows open throughout the day, you would want to keep some privacy. You can either use half curtains or hang beads on the walls to separate sections and also cover the house. This is one stylish summer decor idea for your bedroom. The room is not only hidden with beads hanging but also looks shiny when the sun rays reflect through the beads.

Cotton rug mats: During summer, one prefers to sit on the cold floor than on the bed. During winters, you use heavy rug mats to feel warm but in summer season, you can use cotton rug mats to cover the empty space and enjoy sitting on the floor too!
