Your baby girl's room decor can stand out from clutter of typical baby room decor ideas if you put in that little bit extra effort. After all your little princess deserves the most royal treatment. You can decorate it with ribbons and miniature crowns around it. You can also have a customised Princess chair for the little lady when she is old enough to sit up.

• If you are going for the concept based theme while doing your baby girl room decor then you need to choose one or more of the popular female cartoon characters like Rapunzel, Snow White or Cinderella.

• Example: If you choose Snow White then paint the room a pearly white and make motives of snow covered peaks. You can either paint or use wallpapers to depict the images of the seven dwarfs. In a similar way ever fairytale will have its own salient features which you can utilize to story board your baby girl's room.

• You could also decide on a floral or party theme for your nursery. Go for floral printed wallpapers or create smudge flowers using different shades of paint. But never use real flowers because the baby might be allergic to pollens or the bugs in natural flowers may bite her.
