When there is any imbalance in hormones, the bodily functions that are associated with those hormones may get disturbed. Here are some signs.
Hormones govern many bodily functions. That is why hormonal imbalances could affect certain bodily functions.
We all know that stress is caused by a hormone known as cortisol. That is why when cortisol is released, you tend to feel stressful, frustrated and anxious. Many other mood related changes also occur due to hormonal imbalances.
Various glands produce various hormones which are useful in carrying out several bodily functions. When there is any imbalance in those hormones, the bodily functions that are associated with those hormones may get disturbed. From hunger to sleep, many of your bodily activities are linked to hormones.
Here are some signs of that indicate that your hormonal levels are not normal.

Hormonal imbalances could also cause anxiety, mood swings and depression. Women experience those emotions before periods and also at the time of menopause. Low estrogen levels are to be blamed.
