Your Belly Fat Could Be Killing You
Most of us at one point of time or another have faced problems with our paunch. Not only does it look ugly, it also can cause serious health ailments in the long run. Hence belly fat should not be dismissed as something trivial.
Belly fat can end up damaging the heart, the digestive system and the spine. It can also result in several lifestyle-related diseases like diabetes and hypertension. Hence, we should think about it seriously.

Belly fat is different from all other fats that are there in our body. Unlike any other fat deposits on the body, belly fat contains a lot of toxins. It is these toxins that enable the secretion of certain hormones in the body that can cause a lot of harm to the body.

One of the results of this hormone secretion is diabetes. These hormones build up insulin resistance and hence cause the person to suffer from diabetes. These hormones also increase cholesterol levels and increase a person's chances of suffering from high blood pressure or hypertension.

All these diseases can prove to be fatal. These can result in heart attacks, strokes and sometimes even death. These hormones can also cause cancer and gangrene. These fat cells also release cytokines or immune system hormones that damage the systems that regulate blood clotting, blood pressure and insulin sensitivity.

Hence one should take belly fat seriously and take steps to get rid of it as soon as possible. Cut out sugar and sugary food items from your diet as much as possible. This will help to reduce belly fat to a great extent.
