Ways To Keep Your Mind Sharp
We all want to be more sensible, wiser, smarter, a fast thinker and a great decision maker. But we are all born with a specific degree of IQ. This is something you can do nothing about. However, you can find means and methods to better yourself, optimize your brain power and keep your mind sharp.

Whether it is engaging in a brand new sport, a brand new hobby or learning a new language, all these help to stimulate your brain cells and keep your mind sharp. Doing aerobic exercises is a great way to keep your mind sharp.
Walking, just like every other exercise, increases one's consumption of oxygen. The more oxygen your brain gets, the better it is. You will find that you are full of energy, you can multi task quickly and you feel less sluggish and lazy. It is in the early hours of the morning that the mind is at its sharpest level.

Having the ability to rest your mind for a good complete eight hours of sleep helps to revitalize your mind. Doing this every day will definitely give your mind power a boost since it allows the brain to fix the damaged cells and tissues, repair the psyche and improve your overall mental performance the following day.

Eat a balanced diet of carbohydrates, protein, fibre and fat. Also, do not skip meals, especially breakfast. The brain needs a steady flow of energy to function properly. Those who diet and skip meals can become the victims of distraction, memory impairment and confusion. Hence, eat well and at regular intervals in order to keep your mind sharp.

Include fish in your diet. Fish is said to contain omega 3 fatty acids that keep the brain functioning properly. It also provides relief to people fighting with depression. Avoid having cigarettes and sugary foods. These age your brain fast.
To keep your mind sharp, you should exercise it. Try out puzzles, sudoku and brain teasers. Try to learn something new everyday. Last but not the least, rest your mind. Meditate and think positive.
