Late for work, so why not skip breakfast! This is a common dialogue many people give just to skip a meal in order to stay healthy. But, did you know this is not a wise decision to keep fit.

One of the reasons you should not skip a meal is because it adversely effects your mood. Glucose Is obtained from food and this glucose is the main source of energy for the brain to function your mood. Therefore, skipping a meal will make your brain receive less energy, thus making you feel moody and irritated.

You Might Get Diabetes
Did you know that skipping meals in the evening will increase the blood glucose levels in the body thus giving you the risk of developing diabetes. This is because it delays the insulin response to the body when food is not consumed at the right time.

Skipping meals disturbs your system and puts it into a starvation mode. This is when the body makes an effort to store energy and when this energy is over, it decreases the overall metabolism. This in turn effects your weight loss program.

One of the main causes of acidity, gastric reflux is skipping meals.
