Navarakkizhi is an ancient healing Ayurvedic massage in India. For the Navarakkizhi massage, rice is first soaked with Ayurvedic herbs and oils. It is then cooked in steam and filled into potlis or pouches of muslin cloths. The Navarakkizhi massage is a two-fold process. First herbal oil is lathered on the body and then the muslin pouches of rice are rubbed over all the nerve ending points. It is our nerve endings that make our body sensistive to pian. Thus they are the ideal place to heal pain.

The Navarakkizhi massage triggers sweating and cleans out the skin pores. It is a very useful treatment for rheumatic arthritis or any kind of muscle or bone pain.
Snehadhara is basically an Ayurvedic massage and bath. In this procedure, the steaming Ayurvedic herbal oil in applied all over the body. Snehadhara is a medicated oil bath which when followed by a massage can cure several ailments like body pain, digestive problems and stress related health issues.
This system of treatment in Ayurveda is also called the Panchakarma style. It is not only healthy for the body but has many beauty benefits too. It opens up skin pores and helps your body detoxify itself.
Snana is an Ayurvedic massage that is a part of the Purvakarma procedures. It is done before the Panchakarma procedure to prepare the body for further treatment. Medicated sesame oils are used based on the nature of your illness. Usually two masseurs are required for the Snana therapy. Both the masseurs massage in tandem concentrating on the nerve ending points on the body and also the systems of blood circulation.
The Snana treatment helps to rejuvenate your skin and body because it helps to expel harmful toxins. It is very effective for sleep disorders and stress related health issues. Snana can help to relax stiff muscles and also embalms joint pain. It also helps you get glowing and beautiful skin.
