Measure The Severity Of Anxiety Disorder

The scale can easily be incorporated into routine clinical practices, while treating psychiatric disorders. It is always necessary to develop measures that are feasible and have good psychometric properties. But only 11 percent of the psychiatrists are routinely using standardized measures to assess outcomes when treating depression or anxiety disorders.
It will take only around one and a half minutes to measure the anxiety outcomes of the patients, using CUXOS. It is designed to be brief for the patients to complete and then quickly scored by a clinician.
Clinicians can also rate the severity of depression, anxiety, and anger on standardized scales. Each CUXOS could be scored in less than 15 seconds. It is also easy to calculate the sensitivity of the patients with the panic disorder or generalized anxiety disorder, to change. The scale also has high internal consistency and test-retest reliability.
The study is published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry.
