Are You Able To Digest Whatever You Eat? No? Then Read This!
If you are suffering from deficiency of any vitamin, it could mean that your body is not able to digest food properly. Read this!
If you are suffering from deficiency of any vitamin or mineral, you must ask yourself two questions. Are you eating foods rich in those vitamins and minerals? If your answer to this question is yes, then is your body able to absorb those vitamins and minerals?
Well, if your body successfully absorbs all nutrients from the food you eat, you will obviously never suffer deficiency of any nutrient.
Remember this: simply eating a food rich in a particular vitamin or mineral might not clear your deficiency if your body fails to digest and absorb it. Here are some quick facts about this.

Are You Able To Digest Whatever You Eat?
Your body needs all nutrients in sufficient quantities to remain healthy. When you eat a plate of food, your body tries to get the carbs, fat, proteins, vitamins and minerals from that food depending upon what kind of nutrient is present in it.

Intolerance
When your body turns intolerant or fails to digest a particular nutrient, it shows certain symptoms. For example, carb intolerance may show frequent urination, dry mouth, foggy mind, irritability and fatigue.

Protein Intolerance
In the same way, if your body is intolerant to protein, you may see symptoms like anxiety, bleeding gums, sinus issues and even muscle cramps. Fat intolerance could cause achy joints, dry hair and skin, hormonal issues and BP issues.

How Food Gets Digested
Digestion occurs in several steps. The firsts step involves eating food. The second involves digestion or breaking the stuff to derive the necessary nutrients.
The third involves absorbing all the extracted nutrients into the blood. In the next step, the nutrients are delivered to the cells and organs.
The next step is known as assimilation which basically means your body using the nutrients from the food you eat. The last step is excretion which is nothing but throwing the waste material out.

Why Digestion Is Very Important
Out of the above steps, digestion is the most crucial process as it involves extracting nutrients. Only when your body successfully takes out the nutrients from the food, it can send them to your cells and helps in assimilation, right?

What happens If Digestion Fails?
If digestion fails, all other steps may fail. Unless the nutrients are extracted and kept there in the digestive tract, none of the cells get those nutrients even though you eat very nutritious food.

Solution For Deficiency
The main focus should always be on enhancing digestive abilities as that alone will address your deficiencies better than taking supplements. So, ask yourself whether you are able to digest everything you eat.
