1. Get Up And Walk:
Feeling drowsy post-lunch is something that most of the working people experience. So the moment you start feeling drowsy just get up from your chair and start taking a brisk walk outside or even inside the office. Do this for about 5-10 minutes. It helps.

2. Deep Breathing:
Taking deep breaths helps in providing the needed energy. This can be easily done sitting at your desk. Sit up straight and then try taking deep breaths - in and out. Feel the pressure till your navel. Do this for about 2-3 minutes for best results.

3. Massage:
If you are feeling drowsy around mid-afternoon then you should try out a massage. A slight massage around your scalp, temple area and the brow ridge for about 2-3 minutes helps in getting rid of the stress and makes your mind fresh.

4. Exercise Sitting In Your Chair:
A slight exercise sitting at your desk helps in getting rid of the drowsiness instantly. Sitting on your office chair, slowly raise your arms straight up over your head. As you do this try taking deep breaths. Then with your arms stretched up try touching the floor. This makes you alert.

5. Neck Exercise:
When you sit at one place for a long time your energy level tends to drop. So a slight neck exercise will help in providing you the needed energy. As you are seated on your office chair, elongate your neck and spine and then using your right hand push your head to the left. Repeat the same on your left side. Do this for about 5 times each on both the sides.

6. Shoulder Rolls:
If you feel sleepy post lunch, then sitting at your desk you can do slight shoulder rolls. This not just helps in relaxing the mind but it also helps in providing the needed energy. Slightly move your neck back and roll your shoulders up and back slowly. Do this for about two minutes; it helps.
