Use these set of neck stretches in order to completely get rid of neck pain.
There are several reasons as to why neck pain can occur. We do not know if it is due to the persistent texting habit or last night's bad sleep position.
Sometimes, neck tension can derive from anywhere else in your body too. Neck muscles are actually woven down into the shoulders. The muscles in the shoulder girdle can also affect the mobility or stiffness of the neck.
This article covers some of the best stretches to avoid neck pain. You can release the tension in a seated sequence that targets both neck and shoulders. You can hold on to each pose for about 3-5 breaths. So, continue reading this article to know more about the stretches to avoid neck pain.

1. Neck Circles:
Draw your chin to the chest and start from there. Rotate your neck in a direction and then change the directions.

2. Neck Release:
With your right arm at the side, bend your elbow, keeping it close to your waist. Keep your arm in this position and tilt your left ear over the left shoulder.

3. Seated Chest Opener:
Slide your hands down to the back edge of the chair and get a firm grasp of it. Draw your shoulder blades towards one another to broaden your collar bone.

4. Seated Spinal Twist:
Sit on the right side of the chair and use your arms to turn your torso towards the chair. Complete the spiral of the spine and then turn your head over the right shoulder.

5. Forward Fold:
Bring your body forward and bend down to touch the floor with your hands, while seated on the chair.
