In the alternative system of medicine, curry leaves are a quick home remedy for many diseases. The best known is premature greying and hairfall and eye disorder. Another is gastric problems and diarrhoea.
How can you use curry leaves for gastric problem and diarrhoea?.
Curry leaves contain carbazole alkaloid. They have anti -bacterial and anti -inflammatory properties. These helps in combating an upset stomach and prevent anaerobic amoebic infections. These are also believed to reduce the amount of pitta in the stomach, according to Ayurveda. Its carminative properties can prevent mild stomach cramps.

Boil a glass of water. Add 35-40 curry leaves and leave the mixture for two hours. Strain and add lemon and honey. Drink it in an empty stomach.

Crush curry leaves to make a small ball. Mix these with some buttermilk. Drink it twice a day.

Boil curry leaves in a cup of water. Strain it and drink it multiple times.

#4.
Powder 40 gm of curry leaves and mix the powder with 10 gm of cumin seeds. Have the mixture. Drink a glass of warm water. Have a spoon of honey after 10 minutes. Repeat it 3-4 times a day.

#5.
Grind curry leaves in a mixer grinder with salt and water. Strain it, add honey and lemon. Have this whenever you have a problem.
