We all have certain habits that may or may not be healthy. Today in this article we shall talk about certain habits that can end up sapping our energy and make it difficult for us to carry on with our daily activities.

1. Cutting Out Carbohydrates:
You can easily get out of balance by cutting out carbohydrates from your diet. Not only will this make you feel sluggish, it may also derail your efforts to staying full of energy as carbs are required to keep your brain functioning. Go for healthy carbs like whole grains.

2. Not Drinking Enough Water:
If you are eating the best foods, but are dehydrated, you are likely going to be sleepy and tired. So make it a habit to drink at least eight glasses of water every day to keep your energy levels high.

3. High On Caffeine:
Your are likely to be sapped of all energy that you have if you cannot avoid high degrees of caffeine. This might help to increase alertness, but drinking more cups can have the opposite result later on in the day and perhaps interrupt sleep.

4. Overeating Of Magnesium Containing Foods:
If you are fond of eating bananas, pumpkin seeds, sea fish and green beans, it is good as these are rich in magnesium and magnesium is required to keep you energetic. But do not overdo it as eating too much of these can cause a muscle relaxing effect that can leave you lacking in energy.

5. Bad Posture:
Do you slump all the time? How would you define your posture as? Research has proved that people who slump end up with low energy levels as a proper posture is required to reduce the secretion of cortisol, the stress hormone which can leave you without energy.

6. Working Without Break:
Are you a workaholic tied to your desk? Are you a person who does not take lunch breaks? Think again as this can leave you with less energy as research has found that taking twenty minutes of break during lunch time is necessary to boost your energy levels.
