Grand Finale: Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2016
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, as we say a hi, you must have already known by now what is today's discussion all about. Yes, yesterday was the last leg of the Amazon India Fashion Week spring summer 2016, The Grand Finale. Amazon India Fashion Week is known to be the best in Asia, and marks a resemblance in the fashion world.
Past few days, we were right at the tip of our toes because of all the chaos that was happening while covering the live streams of AIF SS 2016. Alas! It's the grand finale and also the last day of the fashion festival. We experienced some great and marvelous looking designs in these three days, but this is the finale and it has to be grand.
The theme for the finale was set as 'Born In Benaras'. As the theme suggest, it will have lots of colour, hues, and brightness cause it's Benaras oriented. We have some popular designers like, Namrata Joshipura, J J Valaya, Sabayasachi Mukherjee, Ashis N Soni, Abraham and Thakore and many more. All these designers portrayed their overwhelming and whimsical Benaras inspired collection at the runway of Amazon India Fashion Week.
Let's have a sneak peek, to what our designers have to offer us from the finale of AIFW SS 2016.

Born In Benaras
The Lehenga ensemble by Abraham and Thakore. A&T made a combination of western and Indian culture. The lehenga is very dramatic, colourful and Benarsi, but the the twist is, it's accompanied with a shirt. Indo-Western.

Born In Benaras
Yet another design of Abraham and Thakore which we got to see at the runway of AIF SS 2016. The sheer balck shirt and the Benarsi zardosi couture bottom, is a sheer bliss to watch.

Born In Benaras
Arun Saluja also had a very Indo-Western plethora from his collections for Born In Benaras. He chose the androgynous Benarsi jacket, and a feminine english skirt. A perfect combination, isn't it?

Born In Benaras
Another design from the Arjun, which was the same as the earlier one. But the difference being it was detailed with zardosi and had lots of benarsi detailing.

Born In Benaras
The Saree gown by Ashish N Soni. Yes, by saree we mean, the patterns of Benarsi saree used in a gown. This full sleeved deep neck ankle length gown is the right thing for parties in spring.

Born In Benaras
Off-shouldered cropped hem gown. Looks like Ashish N Soni designed this beautiful looking piece only for the women who love to go bold ans sexy. The cropped hem with flared layers and the off-shoulder look is just breathtaking.

Born In Benaras
The sheer beauty. JJ Valaya is popularly known for his lehenga work. Her also, he designed an anarkali piece which was of course Benaras inspired and also the neck line and sleeves were covered with sheer.

Born In Benaras
Namrata Joshipura, is a renowned designer and has designed for many celebrities. But her collection for Born In Benaras was awesome. Who could even think of inculcating Benarsi touch to ultra-modern feel. The deep neck till the abdomen and the cropped hemline in a Benarsi touch is just beyond style.

Born In Benaras
The off- shouldered dress. This long and off-shouldered dress is yet another collection of Namrata Joshipura. The dress is off-shouldered as well haltered neck, which is the uniqueness.

Born In Benaras
Best saved for the last. Who else can do zardosi, lehengan silk, and benarsi better than our very own Sabyasachi Mukherjee. We've known Sabyasachi for his extremely gorgeous work with lehengas and Kanjeevaram. Here also we got to see his beautiful floor length Benarsi lehega, with zardosi and the blouse and dupatta slightly embellished. Th green lehenga is the epitome of beauty and we are loving the design.
