Khadi Collection By 11.11/Eleven Eleven At The Amazon India Fashion Week 2016
Hola! It's the day 4 of the Asia's most loved fashion festival, which is none other than Amazon India Fashion Week, 2016. It's the time of spring-summer collection for the AIFW 2016. Past three days, we experienced a hell lot of fashion shows, collections, paparazzis, shutterbugs and lots of hi-fashion drama. Of course, when it's fashion, drama has to happen.
Today, at the 4th day of Amazon India Fashion Week spring-summer 2016, we will feature some scintillating collections by some young and talented designers. One amongst them is 11.11/ Eleven Eleven by Shani Himanshu and Smita Singh.
Shani Himanshu and Smita Singh curated and conceptualised their men's and women's wear and accessory label 11.11 in 2008. They are graduates in fashion design and leather design. The label essentially aims at bringing together Indian heritage of textiles and crafts, and India Khadi wear to the centre of International Fashion Industry. The designer made their debut by presenting their collections at the Lakme Fashion Week summer resort 2014.
For the Amazon India Fashion Week spring summer 2016, Himanshu and Smita have named their collection as The Khadi Way. We would get to some amazing Khadi apparel and execution by the 11.11 duo on the runway of AIFW SS'16. Let's have a sneak peek, for they have to offer us straight from the runway of AIFW SS'16. Full Sleeves=Half Sleeves
This misfit dress is something beyond imagination. The bottom is quite usual, but the top is way too fashionable. It consist of two hues of blue and the left is full sleeved and the right being half. Khadi with a twist
Red And White Ensemble
Khadi red and embellished? Oh wow, only 11.11 could think of something so enchanting. The red high-waist wide legged pant is perky and playful. But the white shirt with a red khadi embellished jacket is what we would like to crave for.
Hatter Dressy
This Khadi dress is perky, quirky, playful and very casual. Perfect for a road trip, hangout, beach. It's colour is what we like, but the dress being accompanied with the brown hat is what we're drooling our eyes on.
Messy Yellow
Yellow is a must have colour for the spring and summer. And khadi is a fabric which keeps you cool. And a yellow khadi cropped leg jumpsuit with a oversized cardigan is what we definitely need to have this spring.
Flowy Pink Hues
This flared, flowy pale and baby pink one piece dress, is way too beautiful and graceful. The best part is, it's made out of khadi, which many of us would have not imagined of.
Khadi Or Denim
Well well, don't get confused, this denim looking ensemble is actually Khadi.The shirt is embellished in a very minimal way with stones. Also, the pant is skinned till the ankle, and the white jacket is a add on thingy.
