Amidst the preparations surrounding her son Anant Ambani's and Radhika Merchant's wedding. On July 2, the Ambanis arranged a samuhik vivah, or mass wedding ceremony, for more than fifty underprivileged couples. And Nita Ambani ensured to grace the occasion in a thoughtful ethnic look!

Gorgeous Gayatri Mantra Saree
Nita wore a gorgeous crimson silk saree adorned with golden birds for this momentous occasion. The Sanskrit writing interwoven into the six yards of fabric, however, was what grabbed everyone's attention. You read that correctly! The Gayatri Mantra was embroidered on Nita Ambani's custom-made saree.
Nita, who was well-known for her exquisite elegance, blessed every couple in a carefully crafted ensemble. She looked very graceful in every movement, and her outfit's fine craftsmanship was simply captivating.

Traditional Guttapusalu Necklace
Apart from her Gayatri Mantra saree, her choice of traditional Guttapusalu necklace was equally ethereal and captivating. The Guttapusalu necklace is a quintessential jewellery design from Andhra Pradesh. The term originates from the Telugu words 'Gutta,' which means a shoal of small fish, and 'Pusalu,' meaning string of beads. This neckpiece design, featuring strings of pearls strung together like a shoal of fish, defines the Andhra culture rooted in tradition.

Lord Shrinathji Earrings
A devoted follower of Lord Krishna, her jhumkas included a little image of Lord Shrinath, which is another name or avatar for Lord Krishna. Every element of her attire matched the auspicious, including the drop earrings. In Hindu wedding ceremonies, the Vedic mantras or pictorial presentation of deities are considered auspicious things to wear!
Nita Ambani's ethnic ensemble celebrated custom and spirituality more than it was merely a style statement. The vibrant red silk saree with glittering birds represented marital bliss.
