DIY Hacks: 9 Ways To Make Your Own Cool Scarf At Home
Scarves are one of the greatest gifts from the world of fabrics and fashion. A scarf is a great accessory, which also plays a huge part of utility fashion during the winters. Scarves can give you the perfect fashion statement and keep you feeling cozy when its chilly.
Heading to a retail store for scarves can be quite expensive at times, so we have come up with a list of DIY options for you to create your own little collection of scarves. You could co-ordinate the colours with your wardrobe choices and even use old fabrics and garments to create a beautiful scarf.
Take a look at a few DIY scarf ideas for you to try this weekend.
1. Multi-Strand Scarf
Grab one of your old T-shirts and cut it into strips, then place them together and secure it with another trim.

2. Two-Toned Braid Scarf
Place two different coloured spare fabrics and interlock them a few times and double wrap while wearing it to create the infinity scarf look.

3. Arm Knitting
A trend on the rise, this requires your arms and yarn. Instead of knitting on needles, replacing them with your hands gives it a bigger and fluffier look.

This is simple yet quite chic, using wrapped-up yards or yarn and securing them with a leather clasp on certain points.

Any stretch of fabric, stitched or stuck up with a lace trim along its sides can make it look more feminine and chic too.

6. The Ruffle & Flora
Using an elastic thread, you could ruffle up the basic fabric and create little flowers with overlapping fabric pieces and a cute button, and stitch them together.

7. Braid & Layer Scarf
Tight and neat braids on excessive fabric paired up with variating braids and loose fabric secured together to give it a chunky neck piece look is a must-try DIY idea.

8. Fringed Scarf
