India Beach Fashion Week (IBFW) Season 5 started yesterday and it began with a bang. All the ace designers who had their collection lineups on the first day rocked it to the core.

The fifth season is taking place in Goa and it seems like this year it would be more happening than the previous seasons. The three-day event seems to be really challenging by now.

All About IBFW

India Beach Fashion Week is Asia's largest fashion event dealing with outfit designs related to categories like beach, cruise and pool parties. In the past four seasons, they have put up different beach and swim wear fashion designers across the continent. It also presents designers producing destination bridal apparels.

Where It Began

India Beach Fashion Week, like any other fashion event has bi-annual segments, summer and winter resorts. Currently, it is the winter resort going on and ace designers have already started coming in. It started from 2014 and till now, it has covered 4 seasons. In 2015, we were amazed by Anupama Dayal's collection at the Summer 2015 collection at IBFW. The 5th season is up now!

The Journey

It has already become one of the most popular and inspirational beach, resort and swim wear fashion events in Asia and till now, we have seen ace designers present their collections. The 5th Season has kicked off with sheer glamour and already actress Waluscha De Sousa walked for designer Nidhi Munim. We are awaiting for some more gorgeous and sizzling collections from other designers as well.

Categories Of Designers

Best designers across the continent including ace celebrity designers of India have already presented their collection over the years at this fashion event. They also promote a lot of budding fashion designers whom they categorize as 'Surfers'. Stalwarts like Anupama Dayal and Neeta Lulla are named as 'Anchors' while the moderate ones are called 'Sailors'.

Hub Of Ace Designers

Stalwarts of the event excluding Anupama Dayal and Neeta Lulla are Komal Sood, Shriti Pratap and Dolly Sidhwani. They have been presenting at IBFW for various seasons and they have also got celebrities like Ali Faizal and Amrita Arora walk in their ensembles. This year, the lineup mostly promotes the Anchors and Surfers.

Most Vibrant Expectation Of Season 5

Anupama Dayal is in the lineup for this season, like most seasons since it began. We are expecting some real gorgeous and vibrant presentations for this year. As we have seen a glimpse of designer Vikram Padhnis' collection for IBFW Season 5, we have much expectation from him too.
