Restaurant Style: Paneer Makhani Recipe
Paneer Makhani is one of the yummiest treats you can lay on your dining table this afternoon for lunch. If you want to prepare this yummy dish just like the restaurant style, then here is the recipe for you to take a look at. This paneer makhani recipe is made entirely with rich Indian spices and other ingredients.
The only reason why a lot of people opt out of this yummy delight is because of it high content of calories. Paneer makhani contains around 200 calories approx in one serving, which is a lot for you to concentrate on to lose. But, this shouldn't stop you from consuming this yummy cottage cheese recipe for lunch this afternoon. So, what are you waiting for?

Here is how you make this yummy paneer makhani restaurant style recipe.

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 22 minutes

All You Need
- Paneer- 250gms (diced)
- Onion - 2 ( onion paste0
- Butter- 2 tbsp
- Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
- Salt To taste
- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder- 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
- Garam Powder - ½ tsp
- Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
- Tomatoes - 1 cup (puree)
- Fenugreek- 1 tsp (leaves)
- Fresh Cream- 1 tsp
- Water - ½ cup
- Cashew - ½ cup (puree)
- Coriander leaves for garnish

Procedure
- In a deep round pan, drop in a little butter and wait for it to get hot. Then add in the onion paste, fry it a bit and add to the pan the garlic and ginger paste. Now add in the salt to the pan and give it a good stir.
- When the ingredients are frying over a medium flame, add in the chilli powder , coriander powder, cumin powder, garam powder and turmeric powder. Mix well
- Now add a little water to avoid the masala from getting burnt.
- Allow the ingredients to come to a boil.
- Now add to the pan, the tomato puree, the cashew paste and let it cook with a lid on top. After 5 to 6 minutes, remove the lid and give it a good stir.
- Now add the fenugreek seeds and the fresh cream. Give it a good stir and then add in the yogurt too.
- Now add colour to the dish (optional). You can also add a little water if you see the paste of the ingredients a bit too thick.
- When it boils a little add the diced paneer in the dish. Mix it gently using a flat spoon.
- Garnish the dish with coriander leaves.
- Serve you yummy vegetarian lunch on a white plate.

Paneer or cottage cheese is rich in calcium which is good for kids and the elderly. It provides strength to one's bones and helps to keep your teeth strong too.

Tip
Allow the masala to cook well at the initially stage. Avoid burning the masala as it will spoil the entire yummy treat.
