Easy To Make Moong Dal & Palak Recipe

Moong dal and palak recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup moong dal
1 bunch of freshly chopped spinach leaves
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
' cup chopped onions
¾ cup chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon besan (gram flour)
2 tablespoons yogurt
salt
asafoetida (heeng)
coriander powder
garma masala
red chilli pepper
Directions to make moong dal and palak:
1. Put moong dal and spinach in a cooker with little water. Add salt, coriander powder, asafoetida and cook for 10 minutes.
2. Make a paste of besan and yogurt and mix in the cooked dal. Simmer for 2 minutes to avoid lumps of besan and then cook for 2 more minutes in the cooker.
3. Take a pan and saute onions in little oil till it turns brown. Add chopped tomatoes, garam masala, garlic, ginger and red chilli peppers.
4. Saute the mixture in the pan for 2 minutes and then add cooked dal into it. Simmer properly.
The moong dal and palak is ready. Serve it hot with fried rice or chappatis.
