Tasty Broccoli Paratha For Breakfast
There are not many broccoli recipes. In most households it becomes a great nuisance to prepare something out of this wonder vegetable. Surely we are all aware of the health benefits of broccoli. It is a rich source of vitamin C and iron. So, it is an excellent item to include in your daily diet. As for the recipe, here we have a tasty solution to your problem.
Ever heard of a stuffed broccoli paratha? Yes, this vegetable can be used in making tasty and mouthwatering parathas which is a great option for a healthy and delicious breakfast. With a handful of spices and a little patience you can prepare this lip-smacking breakfast for your family. So, check out the delicious breakfast recipe of broccoli paratha and give it a try.

Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Whole wheat flour- 3 cups
- Salt- as per taste
- Warm water- 1 cup
For the stuffing
- Broccoli- 1 (grated)
- Green chillies- 2 (chopped)
- Cumin powder- ½ tsp
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Dry mango powder- 1tsp
- Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
- Sieve the flour and add salt. Knead it with warm water into a semi-soft dough. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add chillies. Fry for a minute.
- Add the grated broccoli and stir fry for about 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and salt. Cook for another couple of minutes.
- Add salt. Cover and cook for about 5-6 minutes.
- Once done, remove from flame and allow the stuffing to cool down completely.
- Divide the kneaded dough into 7-8 equal parts.
- Roll out each ball of dough into small chapatis.
- Place about one tablespoon of the stuffing in the centre. Cover and seal the chapati from each side completely.
- Roll out the stuffed balls into a size of a regular chapati.
- Heat a tawa and fry the stuffed parathas till they are cooked on both sides.
- Transfer to a plate and follow the same method to make rest of the parathas.
