How to keep your diet resolution with cocktails?
Every time you may take a resolution when the fat overpowers you or your unruly diet puts you into a dilemma. " The real diet starts tomorrow. I'll eat healthy and loose weight." It is surprising that at most instances your most favourite cocktails won't be included in the diet menu. Here are few tips to keep your diet resolution with your favourite cocktails.
Always remember that it is not the alcohol that makes the cocktails calorie-heavy. You have to be careful with the mixtures and add-ins to make your cocktails calorie free. You can use club soda or plain seltzer instead of tonic water to make your cocktails calorie-free.
Always reduce the consumption of wine by taking half glass of it mixed with sparkling water or any low calorie juice of your choice.
You can choose an Apple Martini to save consumption of several calories.
You can enjoy the creamy liqueurs over coffee or diet-busting cream instead of ice to keep your diet resolution.
Use artificial sweet for cocktail coffees. You can also avoid whipped cream or half the amount of liqueurs that you are using.
Unsweetened cocoa powder instead of chocolate drink mix will reduce the calories in your cocktails.
Fresh fruits, spices or mints will add extra flavour and taste to your cocktails.
A selection of non-alcoholic ones may result in a calorie-savings of your cocktails.
You can chose dessert cocktails instead of having both the dessert and cocktails after a meal.
Coladas, eggnogs, and creamy or sweet drinks are calorie-rich and diet killers.
Always have cocktails after a meal. Never consume cocktails in empty stomach.
You can avoid five cocktails if you want to keep your diet resolution. They are Daiquiri, Long Island Iced Tea, Pina Colada, Mixers and Bartles & James Wine Cooler.
To keep up your diet resolution, you can try Mimosa, Wine Spritzer, Sangria, Bloody Mary and Wine.
