Eggless Walnut Muffins: A Sweet Treat
The rainy days are just the perfect excuse to spend some time in the kitchen and bake something really nice and tasty. After dinner there is a great craving for some sweet dish. And nothing can be more mouthwatering than baking something at home. Here is a simple recipe of eggless walnut muffins to give your taste-buds a delicious, sweet treat.
Eggless walnut muffins are quite easy to bake and can be relished by the vegetarians as well. You just have to keep some walnuts and muffin pans ready at home. These sweet and soft delights are simply irresistible and you definitely cannot stop at one. So, bake them up in huge numbers especially if you have kids at home.

Serves: 4-5
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
- All purpose flour- 1 cup
- Milk- 1 cup
- Butter- 2 ½ tbsp
- Oil- 1tbsp
- Sugar- ¼ cup
- Baking soda- ½ tsp
- Baking powder- ½ tsp
- Walnuts- 3tbsp (roughly broken)
- Vanilla essence- ½ tsp
Procedure
- Sieve the flour, baking soda, baking powder together in a big bowl.
- Melt the butter and add it to the bowl.
- Then add sugar, oil, milk and whisk together all the ingredients for about 10 minutes till it forms a smooth, creamy batter.
- Add the broken walnuts, vanilla essence and mix it up well.
- Grease the inner sides of the muffin pans with oil.
- Put this batter in the muffin pans with the help of a spoon.
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.
- Bake the muffins for about 20-25 minutes.
- Once done, switch off the oven and check if the muffins are completely done with the help of a fork.
