Vegetable Bhajia With Rare Assortment Of Vegetables
Do you want your food to taste very "desi", very south Indian, then you should try our tasty vegetable bhajia. Our recipe ingredients have some rare assortment of vegetables but taste like nothing before. Take a look at how to make.
It is not always good to bake vegetables as baking will lose out all the necessary nutrients. Instead of the same old potatoes and tomatoes, try some fibre rich vegetables that not only help in digestion but are also comparatively low in calories.
Rare Vegetable Bhajia Recipe (indian Veg Fritters) -
Ingredients:
1. Assorted Vegetables Rings (Guar bean or Cluster bean, Bitter gourd, Ladies finger (Okra), Ridge Gourd)
2. 2 Cups Gram Flour
3. ¾ Cup Rice Flour
4. 2 tsps Chili Powder
5. 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
6. 1/2 tsp Jal Jeera Powder
7. 2-3 Green Chilies (chopped)
8. 8-10 Curry Leaves
9. Salt according to taste
10. 1 tsp Asafoetida
11. Pinch of Cooking Soda
12. Oil for frying
Vegetable Bhajia Preparation:
1. Sun dry all the assorted vegetable rings for a day.
2. In a bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, chili powder, garam masala, jal jeera, green chilies, salt, asafoetida, cooking soda with a teaspoon of hot oil and water. Stir well into a thick batter.
3. Dip the sun dried vegetable rings in the batter and deep fry. Garnish the fried fritters with fried curry leaves. Tasty rare vegetable bhajia is ready to munch.
Enjoy the crunchy vegetable bhajia with chilli or tomato sauce.
