Noodles pakora recipe:
Ingredients
250 gm noodles
1½ cup cornflour
1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
5-6 green chillies, finely chopped
black pepper powder
½ tsp ginger, chopped
½ cup maida (all purpose flour)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
salt
oil for frying
Directions to make noodles pakora:
- Boil noodles in water. Add a tbsp of oil to avoid the strands from sticking to each other. Plain noodles are ideal to make pakora so avoid instant noodles. After boiling, strain the noodles and add them in a bowl.
- Now add onion, ginger, salt, black pepper to the noodles and mix well. Make small pakoras with hands and keep them aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add all purpose flour and cook for a minute on low flame. Add milk and mix well to make a smooth thick paste. Stir properly to avoid lumps. Pour in another bowl.
- Now heat oil in a frying pan. Spread breadcrumbs on a flat plate.
- Take the rolled pakora and coat in the maida paste. Now roll this coated pakora in breadcrumbs and then fry on a medium flame. Keep stirring the pakora in oil so that all sides fry well. Remove pakora when brownand place it on a tissue paper.
Noodles pakoras are ready. Serve them hot with tea and coriander chutney or tomato ketchup.
