Dosa Batter Bonda Recipe
It is past 4pm, so step into your kitchen to prepare this yummy recipe we are sharing with you. Dosa batter can now be transformed into a better treat as an evening snack. To prepare dosa batter into a bonda here is a simple recipe for you to follow.
One of the main things to follow while preparing this recipe is the ingredients. Make sure you add just the right amount to get the perfect taste. This yummy treat will definitely be a delight to your kids and to any elders at home. Using dosa batter will help to make the bonda soft and not crunchy.
So, if an elder person consumes it, there wont be a nuisance in chewing. Therefore, it is time for you to prepare this yummy recipe. Take a look as how you can make bondas using dosa batter.
Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

You Will Need
- Dosa batter - 1 cup
- Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
- Onion -1/2 cup (Chopped)
- Green chillies - 2 - (sliced)
- Pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut - 1 tbsp (Grated)
- Curry leaf - 4
- Coriander - 1 tbsp -(Chopped)
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - For Frying
Procedure
1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Do not add the oil. Mix all of these ingredients using your hand.
2. In a kadai, heat oil and wait for it to get hot.
3. When hot, take the ladle full of the batter and drop it in oil. You can also use your hands to drop the bondas in to oil for frying.
4. Allow the bonda to fry well in the oil and remove only when it turns a golden brown in colour. See to it that the bonda is crisp too.
5. When done serve hot with chutney.

This is a fried snack. Therefore, it contains a lot of calories and is not an option for those who are on a weight loss.
Tip
Don't re-fry the bondas in oil.
