Chicken Cutlet Kerala Style Recipe

Chicken cutlet recipe from Kerala is special because it is prepared with potatoes and minced meat. You have to add curry leaves and green chilies to give this dish its special Southern flavour. Ingredients
- Chicken kheema- ½ kg
- Boiled potatoes- 2 (mashed)
- Pepper- 1tsp
- Garam masala- 1tsp
- Green chillies- 2 (chopped)
- Ginger- ½ inch (grated)
- Egg- 1 (beaten)
- Bread crumbs- 1 cup
- Curry leaves- 4-5
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1 cup
Procedure
- Take the chicken and boiled potatoes together. Mash and mix the chicken kheema and boiled potatoes together.
- Add ginger, green chillies, garam masala, pepper powder, curry leaves and salt to the chicken and potatoes.
- Mix the spices with the chicken and potatoes together.
- Form the cutlets with your hands and flatter them with your palms.
- Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan; when the oil steams, dip the cutlet in beaten eggs and bread crumbs.
- Now add the cutlets to the deep bottomed pan and fry them.
- Deep fry the cutlets for 10 to 15 minutes.
- You can serve the cutlets on a tissue paper with salad and sauce.
