- Mix the minced chicken, salt, turmeric powder, besan, coriander powder, cumin powder and cornflour together. Knead the mixture like a dough with your hands.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. To coat one egg you will need one keema ball.
- Dampen your hands with a little water so that the keema doesn't stick to your hand. Place the keema ball in your palms and flatten it with your fingers into a thin disc.
- Now place the boiled egg in the centre and fold it from the sides. Make sure that the egg is completely covered with the keema.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry these koftas one by one.
- Cook on low flame for about 5 minutes till all the sides turn golden brown.
- Transfer the koftas into a plate and keep this aside.
- Now heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamoms and fry for about a minute.
- Add the onions and fry on medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Once they turn golden brown add ginger-garlic paste.
- Fry for about 2 minutes and then add all the spices one by one.
- Cook for another 2 minutes and then add the mint leaves, sugar, yogurt, tomato puree and almond paste. Saute for 5 minutes.
- Now add the kasuri methi and salt.
- Add water and mix well. Then add the koftas and mix very gently.
- Cover the pan and cook for about 10-15 minutes.
- Once done, switch off the flame and serve.
