Day 2: Jyotsna Tiwari’s Fusion Collection At IBFW 2013
Day 2 of the Aamby Valley Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013 was a visual bonanza. We saw the much awaited Jyotsna Tiwari collection on the Day 2 of Aamby Valley Fashion Week 2013. Jyotsna Tiwari's bridal wear is never straight forward lehenga cholis or sarees. Last year, she had presented the theme of ‘Mystical Romance'. This year, Jyotsna Tiwari has experimented with fusion.
The collection at Indian Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) 2013 presented a beautiful menagerie of fusion lehengas and outfits. Pink and blue came out as the trending colours. We have also seen these two coloured dominate some of the other collections at Aamby Valley Indian Bridal Fashion Week this season. The gowns were all mermaid gowns with a stream of frills at the end.
Jacqueline Fernandez walked for Jyotsna Tiwari to wrap up the show. Fashionable actress Jacqueline Fernandez was the show stopper for Jyotsna Tiwari at IBFW 2013 this year. She wore a pink fusion gown that was slit from the front and was worn with black leggings.
Let's take a closer look at the fusion collection presented by Jyotsna Tiwari at the Aamby Valley Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2013.

Sky Blue Mermaid Gown
This sky blue coloured mermaid gown is one of the best pieces presented in the collection. The gown comes down as a tight fitting bodice till the upper thighs and then shapes up into a lace skirt.

Embroidered Cobalt Blue Dress
This is a contemporary dress that comes up to the knees. The colour is a rich cobalt blue and has yellow embroidery on it.

Scooped Neck Royal Blue Dress
This sleeveless dress is regally royal blue in colour. The neckline was scooped out and the dress came up to the knees.

Purple Footwear
Another interesting feature of this dress was that, it was paired with contrasting purple high heel pumps.

Silk Top n Cropped Trousers
This cobalt blue silk top was tight till the waist and had frills thereafter. The black trousers were also trimmed with a blue border.

Orange Mermaid Gown
This orange mermaid gown is a splitting image of the previous blue one. But we dare to say that the blue gown looked brighter and better.

Pink n Matte Gold Lehenga
This lehenga has a long choli. In fact the pink choli was almost like a top. It was tight till the waist and had loose frill at the fringes.

Pink Fusion Lehenga
The pink lehenga was plain but the cropped sleeveless choli had a plethora of monsoon colours in it.

Kaftan Top With Lehenga
The orange embroidered lehenga was pretty basic. But it was teamed up with a single shoulder kaftan-like top that was golden in colour.

Peplum Choli
This orange and matte gold fusion lehenga almost looked like a peplum gown. The matte gold choli was sleeveless and had lots of frills at the end.

Pink Scooped Waist Outfit
You could call this pink and silver outfit a lehenga choli or gown with a scooped waist. The waistline is visible through a semi-circular scoop out in the outfit.

Baby Pink Fusion Gown
This is one of the defining features of Jyotsna Tiwari's collection. This baby pink gown is slit from the front. It has been worn with a pair of cobalt blue leggings.

Bright Pink Fusion Gown
Another version of this fusion gown was worn by Jacqueline Fernandez. This time, the gown was bright pink, strapless and worn with black coloured leggings.

Back-view Of Pink Fusion Gown
From behind, the gown had a low backline and the bottom half of the gown's skirt was intricately embroidered with silver.

The Show Stopper
As Jacqueline Fernandez was the show stopper, Jyotsna Tiwari walked out with her to centre stage.
